The Mitsubishi Q-Ton heat pump is hot news in Spain

The Q-ton heat pump from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has been a leader in the high-end water heater market in Japan for more than 10 years. But now, it’s the Q-ton's 5th anniversary in the Spanish market that’s making it hot news in the European press.

Making headlines as an energy-efficient alternative to traditional gas or electric water heaters, this revolutionary two-stage heat pump uses eco-friendly CO2 refrigerant to produce sanitary hot water up to 90°C for busy commercial properties.

Introduced to Spain in 2013, it can already be found providing energy-efficient water heating in no less than 80 hotels, gyms, factories and other facilities across the country. No wonder, considering its ease of operation and maintenance, coupled with the fact it has zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) – all making this an increasingly in-demand system throughout the nation.

And when you learn that using a Q-ton heat pump system substantially reduces running costs and carbon emissions by 40 to 75%, it’s no surprise that it’s a hit in Spain.
